I went to this school from the first day of kindergarten until the last day of my 6th grade year and it was the best years of my school career. I knew all of the teachers and the principal personally and they were all great people. I live maybe a mile from the school and my grandpa help build the old lunchroom. I'm happy to see that Clayton has kept the same standards it did when I went there. I can only hope that my kids will go there one day.

We love Clayton Elem. Teachers know your child by name. There are only about three classes per grade level, so it is small compared to some schools in the district that have 15. We have no complaints except that the PTA could do a better job communicating to the parents regarding school events. The phonics program the Kindergarten classes use is exceptional. Great school!

Anything on the weekend is too much. Kids need "family and church" time too! 1 hour a night past the age 10 is fine, 30 minutes or less before.
