When this school was first opened, I would have rated it a 5 out of 5 stars. At this time Mr. Bitterman was in charge, he was a jewel for GSMST. For the parents & the students, he made himself assessable to everyone. He was helpful, concerned and willing to do what it took for a student to learn. When Dr. Matthews and Ms. Hawkins came the quality of the school plunged. Instead of my son being met with encouragement and support (a quality Mr. Bitterman excelled in), he was discouraged to learn and continue at GSMST. I have never been so unhappy with the administration of a school until this pass year. This is a school of Math, Science & Technology...the Admin should be trained in these subjects and be fluent in the knowledge instead of the students knowing more than these 2 people. I give a -10 to Administration

This school is very challenging as well as rewarding. The accelerated program is great for the highly gifted student. My son is working hard and enjoying his high school experience. This is a great, non-traditional school. What an incredible student body too! Not a great place for the non-academic or unmotivated student. It is truly a challenge!
Hello, Im a student at GSMST I think it's a very great school though very challenging at some times.
