Harrisburg Christian School offers a solid college preparatory academic program in the context of the historic Christian Faith. For a small school under 300 students, HCS offers some exceptionally fine programs. If you are looking for a safe, wholesome, solid, program that is well-supported by tuition scholarships, then you schould carefully check out HCS.
As for the racial mix, we've been very excited. if our daughter had stayed in her public elementary, she would have had a very homogenous experience, at hcs, it has been great to see such an awesome group of kids come together and learn from a Christian worldview perspective. Great campus, great staff, well worth the tuition, and there is awesome financial aid available
Awesome school - oustanding offerings of AP classes and solid academic performance in the elementary too. Sports teams do well especially the boys and girls soccer programs and field hockey. Lots of opportunities in music, art and other extracurricular activities. Tuition is well worth the educational, spiritual and cocurricular opportunities.
The racial mix really very leaves much to be desired, and tuition is high and climbing. In spite of all of that, it really was a good, healthy environment to learn and grow.
