My daughter attended Trenton Elementary for the first time as a Kindergartener last year. The school is small but allows a better teacher to student ratio. The teachers are strict but kind and they stress academic excellence and teach beyond the required curriculem. My daughter was reading by the middle of the year. The school has the typical elementary classes, Music,P.E., Art and Sports. I don't believe the parent involvement is as good as it could be. Hopefully it improves in that dept. My daughter just began 1st grade at Trenton Elem. and I'm so glad she is able to attend again this year. I do recommend this school. you won't be disappointed!

No. I have heard of teachers setting up FB pages on areas of study so students can use technology as a learning tool. All posts are public and private messages are disabled. I won't even friend former students. I do it as a rule-no hurt feelings.

No! As an educator, I don't want to be held responsible for what students are doing outside of the classroom.

Absolutely not. Most schools offer the homework question site through the school system. They do not need to be "friends" with their students through social networking sites.
