Had trouble the first year but this year is better. I have a son in 3rd grade and he has really improved. I really love the special ed teacher, Ms Windham who has helped my younger son to improve so much. It has it's problems but I think if you as a parent gets involved in your kid's school no matter what rating, your kids will do well. Great new principal!!!
There needs to be more communications from teachers to students and parents. I feel there's not enough. I feel like I am in the dark sometimes. I email but I get no response back from the teacher.
The teachers, overall, are OK & at least some of them seem to give the impression that they enjoy teaching. My husband & I are starting to seriously discuss transferring our daughter. Although she's doing well, I think she's at a disadvantage at Glen Yermo, since she does speak English.
