This school has a high teacher turnover and is in stages of growing. Montessori methods are in no way consistently adhered to. Some teachers come into the school with no Montessori training and hopefully get some during their teaching year. Potential to be a really good school.

My child completed kindergarten in the 08-09 school year. She did very well and I feel that her teachers guided her choices (as they have choices on what to learn with the Montessori method) well. My child is naturally a self-directed learner, though and I know of other children who have not thrived in this environment. Kids had the choice of learning sign language, Chinese or French, starting in Kindergarten. I was thrilled my child could start Chinese at her age and consider the language program to be a tremendous asset to this school. I felt that my child was safe and well cared for in this school, and its small size is quite attractive to me as most of the staff knew or at least recognized her by the end of the year. The drawbacks is that it is a new charter school, so it does not have a functional library
