Re: the super-political sports comment: It actually begins in DCES... in the 4th grade to be exact. If you are not an alum, a coach or have only an average to slightly above-average athlete, your child won't be given so much as a second thought. There's no desire to teach or develop young athletes. It's pathetic. And a very BIG mistake I can't undo.

All three of my kids graduated from DC, are now in college. Great prep school for college. Sports programs are more than a little bit political though. Cross Country is the best sports program there, Miff and Ms P rock !

Sub par school. Football and baseball are terrible--Super Political--Esp. baseball-If you're considering DC, 'Don't Do It'. There are many other better choices--for sports and academics.
