As a student going to Morse Memorial for almost 3 years now,I have come to hate this school. The only reason I go there is because I have to,for it is the closest to my home in Waldo. Anyways,I too feel in a hostile environment, for they constantly switch 'fads' and I cannot keep up.One day, kick ball, the next,Whiffle-ball, always changing 'fads'. Barely anyone is friendly at the school, except for the terachers, who too are sometimes too overwhelmed by the chaos of the school. A tip for new students, listen to the teacher,do not fight back to older kids, and know when to stop talking if you want to survive.

So far, I have been extremely disappointed with the performance of this school. There lacks a feeling of 'family' within the school staff and it feels like the school has been forgotten about by the district. I have been waiting 3 months for the administration to provide a modified program for my son. I struggle on a daily basis with the dilemma whether to pull him out or not. As a parent, this is not a good feeling.

Teachers who are firm, tough, yet fair, are mislabeled as, "bullies." This is such a ridiculous and false accusation. I got a tough job but I love my job and I care about the students. People don't have a clue what I do or the challenges... More »

How I handled it varied depending on the circumstances. Teacher bullying is child abuse-proove it 1st! If teacher/pricipal/staff won't stop-go above their heads-Seek help from PTO's,administration, schoolboard, media, even CPS-Child Protective Services.

No one should put up with this. Take it as high as you need to go and follow up everything in writing. Even so far as going to your local paper. School A tolerates bullying and won't help children being victimized. They will listen after that!
