NFS is a gem. George Shea has created a collaborative environment where teachers, parents and administrators communicate well and put the needs of the kids first. The teachers go above and beyond -- my son's second grade teacher last year was a frequent face in the crowd at her students' soccer games, plays and other extracurricular activities. A stronger parent community would make this a five-star school across the board.

I have two children in New Franklin and what a great community New Franklin is. My children are not only learning but they are building lasting relationships. The teachers are fabulous, caring, giving, and are always there for the children.

New Franklin is an excellent school which promotes parents' involvement in the classroom as well as outside of the classroom. This is the perfect school for parents who want to be involved in their children's education.

By doing it in the funnest way possible,we have to make it exciting for them. Maybe reward them after they are done AND DID THERE BEST. Parents must be totally involved.

You shouldn't, have a study hall if they need help. When you learn you need a teacher, students can study on their own time.
