I have two children enrolled at Cooke and find it the best possible education I could ask for them There is an accelerated academic curriculum as well as a full scale Fine Arts Program. The staff is always very encouraging of each child trying hard to build on each child's unique strengths. There is strong family involvement as well. We have loved our Cooke experience!
This is a wonderful school. My daughter has attended since 2nd grade and will finish 5th grade this year. My daughter has been challenged in both academics and extra curriculum activities. Teachers at the school do their best to see students succeed. Also the school offers a variety of family oriented events. The only dilema I have now, is finding a Jr. High that measures up to Cooke.
It is truly a warm atmosphere. The fine arts offered to my child have enriched his learning tremadously. The non-tradional learnign style has proven both interesting and effective. The extra curriclar activities are also exemplary, being offered in first grade. I am a parent volenteer, and love it!
The best school in all Waukegan Public school for Kindergarden to 5th grade. This is a magnet school. Prospective kinderganders need to register for screening early in January for the next school years. 1st grade students started violin or cello.
