I go to Preble Shawnee and it is a great school. Although teachers can be strict it helps u out alot. They're very fun and make class interesting. All the students are very nice.

I disagree that the board and administration are overpaid. I am not in this group but have done enough research to see they are at the lower quartile in our county and state. I do agree the board has alienated the community. Unfortunately we need a school levy passed to get moving forward, just as 200 other distrcits in ohio do. A general lack of leadership on many levels including community leadership has divided this school system.

Overall I believe that in previous years the school has been a good school. Though the 2004-2005 school year has definitely been a twist. No busing, no sports or other activities which have caused a lot uprising. The state funding was cut, but that is not the whole problem. The school board, the superintendent, principals, and other authorities are being considerably over paid. Another major problem is the unwillingness of the superintendent, school board, etc. to cooperate with the complaints and concerns of employees working at the shcool, and the ever growing upset parents and students in the school district. This has caused many to leave which is a shame. We do not need more levys, we need state funding and responsible school spending.
