Very little information is provided to parents. I am very disappointed. I have emailed the principal and Superintendant and neither has taken the time to respond.

My son has attended Wooster Heights Elementary. I find that most of the teachers are very caring and willing to go the extra mile. I have been pleased with activities provided there. I don't see a high level of parent involvemnet. There are a few parents that volunteer often. I have not attended parent's club often due to my schedule. I didn't feel very welcome the few times I have been there.

My 3 children attended Madison Schools their whole school career. All 3 received a great education and for the most part, had caring teachers. There are going to be teachers in every district who don't really seem to care - that's part of all aspects of life. Right now Madison is going through a tough time because there isn't enough funding - from Ohio or from the residents of the district. We're certainly not alone with that problem. Children walking to school isn't a wonderful solution but are the people complaining supporting the district when it come to voting time? I would love to hear from positive people about our school district. Why is it that only the complainers voice their opinions? My children have all been in college and done well - fueled by their education at Madison. Let's be fair!

I completely agree with the notion that the school personnel seem to be stumped when it comes to children that need a challenge. I am a parent of children with above average intelligence, and from my experiance, having above average intelligence is a handicap in the eyes of the teachers here. It always seems to be met with criticism and even fear. And now, if thats not bad enough, they expect my children to walk to school on an extremely busy street, for at least a mile.
