My daughter was in the top of her class at Central but I decided she would be in a better environment at another school. Certain Central teachers yell and do not care who sees them yell at the children. So, I suppose, this has been going on for a while since everyone is used to it. Other kids bully, curse and yell and it made my child uncomfortable. There was so much unorganization at this school. She is now having to 'catch up' in her new school although she received straight A's while at Central. Several of my friends pulled their kids out of this school for the same reasons. But, my daughter loves her new school and I can see the improvement in the curriculum and what she has learned in just a few weeks. Just research your options!
This school has given my children an excellent educational foundation. The teachers my children have had were excellent. They took time with my children and kept me well informed as a parent. I also found the principal and assistant principal very willing to help me with any concerns I might have from time to time. Safety has not been a concern at all at this school.
