This school is wonderful if you happen to have a typical little boy or girl. The teachers are friendly, the atmosphere is warm ,and the school is beautiful. Unfortunately this does not apply to their 'expertise', if it can be termed that, with working with special needs children. The Autism program is very poorly run. It is unfortunate as it has the potential to be great. But the aides and the teacher have very minimal training and my child has suffered because of it. Programs that stay the same for months on end, excuses with no follow through, horrible behaviors that cannot be addressed simply because the people who should lack the know how. I would suggest staying where you are if you have a special needs child for the ECLC has nothing to offer autistic children.

This is my son's second year here and it has been great. He has been making great strides and I am really impressed with the program that they have for special needs kids. My only complaint is that the Fund Raising events are not handled well and causes embarassment to the seller when they fail to deliver within a specified time frame.

My daughter attends this school and I am very pleased with the progress she has made! Her teacher keeps me posted on her progress and anytime I have a question I get a timely response. I am proud to say my child attends this school!

My son goes has kindegarten here and although getting him to go every morning is tough he always says he had fun when he gets home. His teachers seem to care and he's reading rather well which tells me they know what they are doing. The school does try to involve the families in after school events but they end up being fairly mismanaged and not living up to the hype given them.

You get what your tax dollars pay for! Excellent school for the money in my opinion.

Check to see if students with disabilities are a priority because otherwise the state doesn't pay for that child to go to School if they don't have a disability your child has to be put on a waiting list for pre-k! if their not

1.Go on a tour of a school tour 2. Talk to the director (and the teacher your child will have) about what the students day like. 3. Watch school in session 4. Look out for red flags: neglected children at play, lazy, non engaging teachers
