I am so excited about our exemplary rating. Lindale is a great place to teach. Teachers love the students and the community. We have great support from parents and administration. It is a wonderful school. Janice Caldwell, Debate coach, UIL Coordinator

I think the education provided is great, but I'm concerned about the current financial issues and how they will affect the students

Quality of education is good. Poor discipline and high use of drugs among students for a small town school. Good availability of extracurricular activities.

Lindale High School is an academic oasis in East Texas. Far and away the best high school in the area. Expectations for excellence are exceptionally high given the demographic. Student conduct is strictly monitored and misbehavior of any kind is simply not tolerated. A dress code is strictly enforced. If your child is a 'free spirit', don't come here because they'll be miserable. The debate team won the state tournament last year and the school does very well in all UIL academic events. Sports programs are good, but the only exceptionally good program is tennis for boys and girls alike.

It is critical to the success of the school. Great leadership means great students and staff very high moral at the school.

Very important - a school and its staff is only as strong as is leader. If the school has strong leadership then the school will also be strong.
