We have 2 children attending St. Martha Catholic School. Both are very different, and the teachers respond positively to both! Rarely today do you see teachers going the extra step to make sure your child succeeds, but this is the norm at St. Martha Catholic School. My son's teacher even calls him at home to let him know how proud she is of him and to keep up the good work (she'll also let us know if he's slipping). Normally you hear teachers calling or contacting you on negative behavior. It is so nice to have positive reinforcement of good behavior. It's also nice to know that the counselor and resource teacher are also there to assist students whenever it is necessary. I wouldn't dream of sending my children anywhere else! Not only are they getting an excellent education, but they are also have their values reenforced.

This is a very good school. While the classes may be somewhat larger than those of public schools, I have never felt it affected my child's learning or special attention they may require. While my child was getting acceptable grades, they thought she would benefit from additional help and proactively brought in the resource teacher to work with her. I've found the children generally kind to one another and when an issue does arise, the teacher is quick to respond appropriately. The academic curriculum is strong. The values & discipline typically associated with a catholic school are present, but delivered in a very positive & happy environment.

I think the classes are over crowded and teachers are going over the work to fast and if some children dont understand they get lost in the shuffle and fail. The children aren't so nice either for it to be a christian school.

We have a child attending, as well as one who graduated. St. Martha's (from JR K, through 8th grade) is a special community! SMCS's environment provides interactive educational activities with state of the art technology. The environment promotes learning, recognition for achievement and support for one another. Coupled with the genuine, faith based and spirit building community activities, sports, drama, field trips, class trips, etc., SMCS is exciting & truley unique! The children are safe, they know the rules and enjoy their school experience. If you are seeking a faith based, supportive and enriching environment, St. Martha's is your place. The small 'family' friendly environment at SMCS, allows the children more confidence and shows in capabilities of achieving whatever they desire. We have very little turnover and an amazing and dedicated staff with exceptional teachers. And finally, we have the best, and most dedicated priest: Thanks Father Fausto!
