My child has been there for 3 years. Teachers are caring; curriculum is excellent. The principal and office personnel do an awesome job. Parent support is exceptional as well. I have one child in this school system and 2 others in Magnet schools in Guilford County. I would put Stoney Creek up against them any day! As a public school, overall, I think it ranks among the very best.

I am very please with my childrens experience at Stoney Creek. We are the smallest elementary school in the county, but the parental support and great teachers keep our students on top. For the past 7 years we have been an honor school on the state level. I might also add that we are the only school in the county with this honor this long. While we are lacking in some areas, such as enhancement programs year round, we are a great school in a great community.

I was very dissapointed in this school . I had 2 children in this school and both had very bad experiences with uncaring teachers. I agree with the earlier comment made by a parent stating that the principal has no authority or doesn't care to use it . This school only has art for one part of the year and then music the other part , the budget isn't there for either full time. Very Disgusted !

I currently have two boys at this school. I very much enjoy the atmosphere and the staff at Stoney Creek. I was very worried about my youngest son starting kindergarten because he never seemed interested in learning but his teacher is already doing a wonderful job in teaching him everyday. He really enjoys going to school!!! Also, I feel Stoney Creek is priviledged to have Mr. Johnson as a Principal because he is doing a GREAT job.
