center area high school and monaca high school have recently merged. this gives us a much larger school system with schools in both areas being utilized. there are a few problems to be ressolved but all the people involved seem to be working to make the merger successful. we are one of the first areas in the state to do this and it seems like a very commendable accomplishment, both for students and tax payers.
Center or Central Valley is not a great school district. There really are no good school districts in Beaver County. There are a few excellent teachers, however the many bad ones and horrible administration will always ruin the work of the few good.
I truly believe that the bad parental review was not submitted by a Center resident. This is an excellent school distsrict. They have excellent programs geered toward getting the children motivated to strive even higher. We have two children in elementary school and we have been very pleased with what they learned and how they are taught.
