My children are going into 3rd grade at Jamison and have had a fantastic experience there from K-2. The teachers are outstanding, and the administration knows our kids and takes a personal interest in their success. Overall, you can't beat Central Bucks schools.
My son is in the first grade. He has a learning disability and Jamison Elementary is a blessing to him and our family. The principal, IEP team and his teacher, Mrs. Rucker are wonderful people and my son loves going to school and is enthusiastic about his day! I recommend this school to anyone who has the option of moving to this area for the benefit of their child. It was a good year and I applaud every person at Jamison who made it great for my son!
We just moved to the area recently and I am amazed at the quality of education at this school. I recently asked my children how they liked their 'new' school vs. their 'old' school and they could not be any more positive about this school. Very impressed.
As far as the academic programs this school is excellent. The school seems to have a problem with bullying. Many children have been bullied physically and mentally in this school and no matter what kind of programs they try nothing seems to work. I think one of the reasons is the Principal of this school doesn't know what to do with children that bully and they seem to always get away with it. Maybe when she holds these children accountable for their actions the bullying will stop. Many Parents I have talked to agree with me and know many many children have been bullied in this school. Its a real shame because its a nice school and maybe when Parents talk to their children about treating other children equally and treat others as they want to be treated it will stop.
