I have to say that the safety at this school is lax. There are no cross walk attendants so when these children get out of school, they just walk out and right into the street. The doors are not locked when the children are in school either. The academics are amazing though.

The academics in this school are great. However, I am very disappointed in the lack of safety precautions in this school. The doors are left unlocked and it is common for parents or others to wander around unnoticed. Also, the school website has not been updated in years, so it is basically worthless. The school lacks organization. Overall, I am not very impressed with Spanish Springs Elementary.

I am very impressed with this school. I am a firm believer in 'It starts at the top'. The Principal set the pace and he is awesome! He and the Vice Principle are very involved with the students and they are always smiling. They have done such a great job and this shows in the teaching staff they have, which is also wonderful. My daughter has spent 2 years here and enjoyed every minute of it! They have set such a high standard. I only hope, this year, middle school is just as good.

My daughter has been at Spanish Springs for 2 years. I have been very impressed with most of the staff and teachers at this school. My child, in some ways 'marches to a different drummer' and has trouble in some areas if the 'cookie cutter' view of all learners and teaching methods is used. Spanish Springs staff have been open to my input as a parent. I have been extremely impressed with her teachers. Her teachers have innovative in their thinking and methods while covering 'the basics.' They took the time to know and appreciate my daughter's uniqueness while challenging her to work to her potential.
