Comming to a close in a long year, I have to say that the new principle at Florin is awesome! It seems that much more attention to the students safety has encouraged a supportive enviroment for the students to take in all the teachers are offering to them as oppose to concerns of their safety. Mrs. Brown continues to be an asset to our children in the after school program. Mrs. Drager and all other teachers continues to offer high expectations and the chanllanges of each student. Mrs. Bernachi continues to have a way to support and encourage students to do their best and offer a learning toward science that encourages even the student that may not of been interested. I love this school and am so glad my children have been able to have such a supportive and positive result in attending this school.
Mr. Givens is an awesome principal. I am going to miss him. He is always out on the yard with the kids. This makes me feel my kids are safe at school.
Actually there are still some clubs. They have the Chess Club, Scrapbooking, Choir, and a few others. Just ask someone in the after school program. There are many changes due to funding this year, but the class are still going strong.
There seem to be less clubs and programs for our students this year. Is this because of budget cuts or is the money used for other things? A little disappointed!
