This school is awsome i went through it and so did the rest of my family, we learned great things! We went in there noing very little, and came out knowing lots of things you would never dream of, about the world, people, goverment, countries, human body, etc. like math, sceince! If it wasnt for the Walter C Black school i wouldnt be doing this great in school today! Thanks WCB!

School is very good , principal Ms. Franzo tries to ensure she knows each student by name. Some teachers are excepptionally good in Math education. As I know based on my 3rd grader's teacher. So if you move to East Windsor make sure you child goes to Walter C Black!

I attended Walter C. Black, between 1996 and 2003. At every step, my interests were stifled and I was held back in every respect by the faculty, with the exception of two wonderful individuals. Although my grades were consistently good, my mother unsuccessfully fought to get me permission to study higher level math (by first grade, I knew fractions and long division and multiplication) and English (I had read 'A Little Princess' numerous times by second grade). In fourth grade, for example, I read a short, picture book about the Renassance and wanted to present a short report about it. However, I was strongly discouraged to follow my interests, since there was no time for anything that did not fall directly into the curriculum. There was ample time for coloring, though! Six years of fighting is discouraging; I could have completely lost my love for academics and my self-esteem!

By doing it in the funnest way possible,we have to make it exciting for them. Maybe reward them after they are done AND DID THERE BEST. Parents must be totally involved.

You shouldn't, have a study hall if they need help. When you learn you need a teacher, students can study on their own time.
