Concord High is so supportive, and they're always pushing for us to go forward. The Choir, Band and Drama programs especially. We are strong academically and we always work together. When our VP's wife died last year we were the first to step up and start helping him, we had a penny drive and sold bracelets, raising over a thousand dollars.
The music program is awesome. Great teacher, great musicians, great friends!!! but the district wants to cut our music teacher next year :( don't let our award winning program go down!

The school itself can be very pretty, especially in the spring when all the cherry blossom trees are in bloom and everybody is super nice. Teachers are generally good at what they do. The extra stuff besides the academic are really good too, and it's nice to belong to a school of winners, like our choirs and bands, sometimes sports.
Besides regular/general education students numbering approximately 1400 students, Concord High has about 200 special needs children, including deaf and hard-of-hearing students, who receive an education appropriate to their abilities. All are taught that they are valuable and worthwhile young people, and are encouraged to do their best as they learn among the other students.
