Mr. Sebring is the best principle. And all the teachers and supporting staff truly care about the quality of education the children receive.

I am very disappointed with Painesville city schools. The uniform policy or mcdonaldization of the system cannot fix the enormous hole. A new agenda should be to learn communication skills. Interpersonal communication with the children is more important than their packaging!

We have 3 children in the Painesville Schools, two at Maple elementary. We believe very strongly in the quality of the leadership and academics at the school. Almost all of our childrens' teachers have been eager to work with us, are very open to our concerns and very communicative about their concerns and expectations. Many go above and beyond to serve all of the children of the school. The principal has an outstanding commitment to the school and the kids. He interacts with them very well yet mainatins a good balance between being their friend and being the leader of the school. He respects the children and demands respect from them. The new facilities are excellent and well-maintained. They provide high quality opportunities for the kids to learn in ways that work best for them. There is ample technology to support the development of the required skills.
