Great little school!!! Adult to student ratio is very high, the kids get lots of individual attention and are encouraged to work at their own level. Great parent involvement, wonderful teachers, terrific programs... my kids love this school!

Groner is a small public elementary school in a great agricultural community with a lot of history. It is the program school for the area's deaf and hard of hearing students. In addition, all students at Groner learn ASL, so by 6th grade all students are considered proficient in a second language. The school has a wonderful, caring and committed teaching staff and administrative staff, and students have a great deal of support while getting a great education! Groner's many community building and family events provide several ways for students and families to build relationships and friendships. The school's dedication to building community makes Groner 'the village' it takes to raise all of our children well.

Excellent small rural school that teaches all students the American Sign Language. Great community that supports the school too.

They could be doing much more to earn money by collecting more then just BoxTops & Soup Labels. There are Capri Sun Drink Pouches, Used cell phones, laptops, empty ink/toner cartridges. They should look at TerraCycling.com What is PTA REALLY doing?

It is great to teach our kids to give to others-within limits. Support without demanding! I boycott school fundraisers; donate elsewhere to show real value in helping where needed.

From the asking perspective (such as schools asking students to donate to causes) frequent appeals for donations creates real problems for families who cannot afford to donate to every appeal or cause. Stop pressuring kids for money.
