Sacred Heart School in Effingham, IL has been around a long time! Established in 1892, the school has a rich history and welcoming arms. Teachers who know each student personally, an awesome facility, and technology integrated in the classroom, make this school so appealing. We're so happy to have chosen Sacred Heart School!
My children both attend the best school on earth -- Sacred Heart School, Effingham, IL! Sacred Heart is a wonderful school with professional and experience teachers who truly care about their students. The students consistently score higher on standardized tests vs. students at other schools in the area. The facility is top notch, and the environment is comfortable, positive, and focused on spiritual growth; in addition to teaching the basics required in elementary education. It is a fantastic school, and we are proud our children are Sacred Heart Shamrocks!
Sacred Heart is a school for parents who want to be involved in their children's education. Sacred Heart has a warm & caring learning environment. Parents are welcomed and encouraged to participate in school activities and parent organizations. Sacred Heart is the first school in the area with Smartboard technology, Saxon reading and math, K thru 8 Spanish and other innovative programs. Other schools, both public and private, have copied Sacred Heart's Accelerated Reading program, school music and drama programs and student mentoring programs. Sacred Heart's small class size and teacher/ student ratio allows students to grow and explore their special interests.
