I don't understand why people are so negetive about this school in the reviews below! It is the BEST middle school you will find ANYWHERE! When I went there last year, I recall absolutely no fights amongst students, only a small amount of bullying (comapred to nearby schools), excellent teachers and overall a great education. The students are extremely driven and mostly everyone cares very deeply about their grades. Hereford is ahead of most of the schools around them (with multiple students learning Algebra II and even Geometry by 8th grade) and it wasn't uncommon for new students to come due to the fact that they knew it was a good school. Because of this, one of the few problems in this school is the overcrowding. Classrooms of 25-35 students were frequent. All of the teachers are so caring and even use their lunchtime to tutor students, or help them complete makeup work from an absense. Most students come from very educated, well-rounded families, and it shows! After-school activities available to students are plentiful compared to the average middle school. This includes ski-club (monthly trips to ski resorts), art club, robotics and engineering, chess, newwpaper and more!

Blue Ribbon School with excellent teachers and administrators. My daughter is in 8th grade and actually loves going to school! The student population is wonderfully diverse and the parents really seem to care about what happens there.

Disappointed coming from Warm and Fuzzy Prettyboy to this environment. They are not really interested in working parents - After school activites work for soccer moms. The scholl won't even creat a blog for parents to try to find car pools. Your kid is just out of luck. No notices given for changes in bus scheules. We have waited 45 minutes in sub frezzing temps for the bus to show up on ly to find the new schedule was going to last for a few weeks. School never informed parents affected!

Very disappointed after coming having our son leave Prettyboy Elementary. A surprisingly large portion of the teachers (for 2 years now) don't really seem to care how the children are progressing, and certainly put in only the minimum time and effort to teaching, grading, and giving extra help when neccessary. It is almost impossible to even obtain assignments missed during absences from the teachers. School administration does nothing to change this 'do the minimum' attitude, and even seems to foster it. I have another son who will be moving on to Herefeford Elementary, and I dread it. If I had the ability to send them to a private school - I would. Hope Hereford High is better.

By doing it in the funnest way possible,we have to make it exciting for them. Maybe reward them after they are done AND DID THERE BEST. Parents must be totally involved.

You shouldn't, have a study hall if they need help. When you learn you need a teacher, students can study on their own time.
