I was student at LMS. Lincoln is a really nice school but has a lot of bullying problems and the teachers and administration don't do anything about it. My three years at Lincoln were the worst years of my life because of the bullying. The school is very nice for the vocal and band students. The school has an award winning Show Choir.

My 3 children went to this school. The oldest went to the older school, which was HORRIBLE. The new school improved but I have to say that they STILL have issues and I am SO glad that my kids are done with them. Not all the teachers are responsive, although some were, even though I was very involved. The worst school years of my kids lives. The principal was very engaged but the assistant principal was useless.Very unresponsive and not helpful at all, and it didn't help that MOST of the kids totally hate her, which goes to show how much she connects with them.

Over the past 4 years I've learned, observed, and watched the school decline. The building was opened in 2006. In 7th grade there weren't enough lockers in the wing and my child had to use a locker in a different part of the school. In one of the classes, there weren't enough desks available, the library is still seriously lacking books. There was an excellent band program that met twice a week and won top awards at competions. Now, although there are still instrumental classes, the band only meets once every 2 weeks, and are pulled out of acedemic classes. REACH was a great opportunity for students to learn topics of their choice. Now they are assigned classes that they have no interest in. The focus is on trying to get 'bad' students to behave, and the acedemically challenged to past the test. The higher end students are being left behind.

By doing it in the funnest way possible,we have to make it exciting for them. Maybe reward them after they are done AND DID THERE BEST. Parents must be totally involved.

You shouldn't, have a study hall if they need help. When you learn you need a teacher, students can study on their own time.
