My child has just started LaBelle Middle and she is very happy there. She was a little nervous at first but has adapted quite well. She tells me how nice her 6th grade teachers are and that they make her feel safe and comfortable there. We have nothing but great things to say about LMS!
This school has the potential to be really great...With all of the areas elementary schools recieving an 'A' rating in the last several years, the caliber of the students and their preparedness has helped the middle school's ratings improve. The key will be if the administrators and teachers will pick up the ball and run with it. The band program has set the bar by winning 1st place and being named national grand champion for the music department.
This is a good school...if your kid is planning to go here, then its a pretty good choice. I dont really know why they only gave LMS a 4/10. They should give it a 6 or 7/
