Mission High School is a great school. Great students, teachers, and education. I graduated from there and my kids are going there as well and i hope their time at Mission High School is as great as mine was.

As a teacher and former student, Mission High School is a very teacher friendly school. The teachers are well paid and well taken care of producing a very experienced, very efficient staff. There is a little confusion on the direction Mission High School is going to take, after the opening of the city's second high school. There is a very apparent socio-economic difference in the 2 high schools, with Mission High School getting students from historically the poorer areas of the city, but test scores are just as high if not higher indicating a strong willingness by the students to succeed. The only disappointment is the loss of pride in the school in both its academic and athletic programs by the students, teachers, and parents.
