The preschool program has successfully prepared my child to succeed in elementary school! The academic and play times are well balanced. The teachers and Director are professional, caring and have fun with the kids! Parents are really becoming involved in their kids classrooms and the preschool plans many family events!

The academic programs at Concordia Lutheran School are high quality. The teachers go out of their way to help the students learn and the principal is very polite and helpful. They offer different sport activities for the students and great programs for them to be involved in. Students also have the oppportunity to enroll at the daycare which is connected to the school. Concordia Lutheran Day Care provides before and after school care for all students. There they are involved in fun activities also. I highly recommend Concordia Lutheran School and Day Care to anyone who is interested in quality education with small class sizes!

This school provided exceptional learning experiences for both our male children, particularly in reading and math. Our kindergarten child is reading at nearly a 2nd grade level and our 2nd grader read as high as a 6th grade level. The AR (accelerated reading) program is expertly run and very beneficial. The classrooms are orderly. Students are respectful to one another and to their teachers. A very positive environment for young minds.

We test kids at the end of the year and beginning. Kids that don't keep up during the summer take a giant step backwards. If our kids do complain about homework, we ask them,"Do you want to work for a company, or own the company?"

No. Let the children have a break. Let their minds focus on being children. They'll have plenty of homework when they go back to school. I would not even consider enforceing summer homework for my children. They need stress free playtime.

Yes. Of course summer is for fun however they can take a brake from homework 2 weeks or so, not the whole summer. If you teach a child the importance of learing they will enjoy the homework even in the summer.
