ou is the worst school that my child has ever had to attend, and once you get sent there, you don't leave. you will fight just to go there. teachers tell me to teach my child to defend himself, so therefore, he stays in trouble, and will never get to go to a decent school ever again. when my child started here his grades were average, now he has all f's. the teachers teach nothing and definately don't care about nothing more than a paycheck. all children grades 6-12 are taught in the same class and taught the same material, so what kind of college preparation is that? none, to go there, your child will need to forget college, or even a high school education for that matter.

I believe that O.U would have to be the best school I know. The teachers their are not like other teacher, they really do care. The graduations their are more special then anyother graduation I have ever been to in my life. The teachers say heart warming things to their student. And they are one big happy family at O.U.

No. I have heard of teachers setting up FB pages on areas of study so students can use technology as a learning tool. All posts are public and private messages are disabled. I won't even friend former students. I do it as a rule-no hurt feelings.

No! As an educator, I don't want to be held responsible for what students are doing outside of the classroom.

Absolutely not. Most schools offer the homework question site through the school system. They do not need to be "friends" with their students through social networking sites.
