I also am a 2008 graduate of MELHS and I do not regret my experience there. It is a sound school that prioritizes the needs of the student first, even when the students may not see it that way. MELHS offers a challenging curriculum that will prepare the students, but at times it appears that certain teachers work with students that care about the subject as opposed to reaching out to the lesser interested to succeed. The smaller environment allows for individuals to participate in activities such as theater and sports, and with many qualified coaches, the Knights always seem to be competitive in just about every sport. For the most part, the social environment is very open and friendly, however, like other small schools, a select few may be snobbish. Overall, this is a very good school with room for growth.

I am a 2008 graduate of Metro East Lutheran High School and I absolutely loved going there for high school. I played sports all four years that I was there and I had great teachers and coaches. The closeness you get while attending is second to none. I recommend MELHS to any parent looking for a great Christian environment for their children to grow and prosper in. Go Knights!
