My daughter experienced a wonderful Early Childhood experience at this school. We decided to have her discontinue this year after 4 years at the school. The upper school has very few students enrolled and does not offer the challenge we need for our child. We were also sad that music and technology which were once wonderful, are not present in after school anymore. I also question safety at the school which is quite open in our present day and age. The warm environment of the past was replaced by one of coldness and restriction.
My son attended WFS for six years. The environment was wonderful until about a year ago when negative changes occurred. The school lost excellent teachers over this change and I have since pulled my child out. I do agree that the Early Child hood program is wonderful and should be considered the best. On the other side, the programs for First Grade on up are not great at all. There are very few students and they tend to double up grade levels. Why should I pay all of this money for a private school if my child has to share a class with other students of a different grade level. Early Childhood A+ Older Grades D

As my daughter enters her 4th year at Westbury Friends, I will tell you I would have her no where else. This school has diversity and a community that is second to none. The faculty have been nurturing, attentive, stimulating and most importantly, instilling the love of learning. Admin changes last year have raised the bar across the entire campus and it shows. You owe it to you and your child to look at Westbury Friends School.

I found this school quite by accident, and I am so happy I did! This is my child's third year, and it just keeps getting better. Loving, nurturing, yet academically challenging environment, wonderful teachers who truly respect my child for who she is, community service opportunities, diversity. Recent changes in admin have improved the school dramatically!
