My son is attending elemeeentary school in this district. Her teacher taught a lower grade last year and now that we are in the second week of school still says (when asked about the curr.) that she has'nt had time to draw up new lesson plans or look at the core req. for the grade that she is currently teaching. When I spoke with the princ. to ask why the work seemed so easy compared to the public school that my daughter attended last year, I was told that this school teaches to the state minimum(!) which is what is legally req., that other parents haven't complained & that perhaps I'm too involved!
