Exceptional teachers, small class sizes, and a hands on approach to learning is the key to George Fox's success. A nurturing environment opens the door for a love of independent learning, while at the same time, the ability to work with others in a happy and productive manner. Music is taught in class, though not funded heavily as of yet, Art and Spanish instruction is included, even knitting, sewing, and 'cooking' basics can be learned from first grade on up. Service projects help the children understand that they can make a difference in the world, and the positive feeling that grows inside one's self from the experience. Parent involvement is important, as there are many opprotunities to be an active part in your child's education, as well as the success of the school. It has a grass roots charm, yet meets and can exceed the academic standards for Pennsylvania. Excellent!

Anything on the weekend is too much. Kids need "family and church" time too! 1 hour a night past the age 10 is fine, 30 minutes or less before.

you shouldn't have more than 2 hours of homework a day if that, you should only have up to 1 hour really. maybe 15 minutes a subject.
