i am a former student at hayfield and i have to say this is a wonderful school. there are not many fights but if they're then there are teachers everywhere. the teachers are some of the best and help you with anything that you're having trouble with. the principal Dr.Oehrlein is awesome when it comes to his role at Hayfield.
This is a great school. Principal Oehrlein won 'Best MS Principal in the Commonwealth of VA' for 2007-8 given by Met Life. Parent involvement is tops. Just renovated, beautiful.
