This is a very small school with mostly excellent teachers. The biggest problem with this school is they put athletics above EVERYTHING! Sports are good but they have a tendency to put athletic students above everyone else. It seems to be all about winning.

Hayesville high School is an amazing school. The teachers treat you with respect and you are never treated unfairly. I love going to school here because i am always acepted for who i really am.

I just graduated from this school this past June, and I can honestly say that this school is AWESOME! The teachers really care, they are the best teachers anywhere. Make sure you take physics with Gilgen, the Hayesville High School experience isn't complete without Gilgens flipping awesome classes. Mrs. Leek is awesome too!

I'm an alum. Scholastics are pretty decent -- as the school often has the luxury of acting like a private school. But I never liked the prevalence of religion and closed-mindedness. In other words, I had a good education, but was elated to get out of there.

You get what your tax dollars pay for! Excellent school for the money in my opinion.

Check to see if students with disabilities are a priority because otherwise the state doesn't pay for that child to go to School if they don't have a disability your child has to be put on a waiting list for pre-k! if their not

1.Go on a tour of a school tour 2. Talk to the director (and the teacher your child will have) about what the students day like. 3. Watch school in session 4. Look out for red flags: neglected children at play, lazy, non engaging teachers
