this school has alot of gangs i had to remove my child out of this school. its just a job for most of these teacher. they really dont care about the student. only if you are a white student
Campbell continues a downward spiral as those that care move their children to private schools or out of the district. I believe the core faculty try to do a good job but they are just worn down by the attitude and completely out of control student body. There are still some great teachers here who are doing their best. The administration and parents need to clean up this school and clean it up fast or the good teachers and students will continue to go elsewhere. I have had children attending Campbell for the last 6 years.
I am a CHS alumni of class of 2010 and all the talk about it being a horrible school is not true and I vehemently disagree with this statement. Just like any other school, it has its downfalls and problems, but if you are looking for a school to nurture your 14+ year old child like a baby then this is not for you. CHS is not a bad school and your kids choices are what gives them their consequences, deal with it. The Graphic arts program is very good and the teacher is exceedingly well if you are mature and self disciplined. She became my second mom and motivated me to keep moving forward and through my artwork I recieved numerous awards and was even contracted by the school to paint some murals. Sure the IB program is hard but it is worth it.Anything that is worth having always involves hardwork and dedication and commitment (like earning the title of US Marine). All in all, if you are looking for a school to spoon feed your teen student then look else where.Don't expect the teachers to do their job and yopur job as a parent awsell.GET INVOLVED!!The only problem I ever had with this school was the volatile mix of ignorant and unself diciplined students, but hey every school has that.
I am now a junior at Campbell High and have been going to this school since freshmen year. I must say that i love this school. The teachers i have come in contact with are every nice & caring. They try to do whatever is best for your student. The homework load can be alot at times but tutoring is always an option. The school motivates students to succeed and even recognize students who do so. Eventhough like every school it has its flaws ; I would reccommend this school to any parent.
