My child was very dissappointed by the lack of after school activities because most of them involved sports and my child did not want to do a sport. Also some of the teachers were quite strict. My child overall was not always satisfied with Oakview.
My child has been at Oakview for 2 years now. It is a wonderful school, with caring, concerned teachers and staff. I have nothing but praise and great things to say about Oakview. The academic program is appropriately challenging. The teachers go above and beyond to help all students.
I am Not a parent but i went to oakview and it was the best school I've went to. All the teachers are very nice and are willing to help you with any problem that you have. I went from all D's to All A's and B's because the teacher were willing to help me with everything. There is alot of after school activities, and if there isn't something your child likes then they can talk to the student council members and they can talk to the school and some teachers and maybe start a new club. The Teachers are alot of fun. This is the best school ever.
