Grace Baptist has an excellent early learning program and all Kindergarten students are reading and reading well. They are grade levels above public school levels. The elementary uses the ABEKA program and has lots of extra-curricular actiity such as: cheerleading, softball, basketball, spelling club, math club, music instruction, and put on a spectacular elementary operetta every year. Teachers are caring and committed, working as a ministry. Some teachers have been there many years and have deep roots in the community. There are no aides or the facilities or staffing to do honors type programs to challenge gifted students. Students with physical and mental handicaps are blended into the diverse student body.

My child has attended Grace Baptist Academy for the last 5 years from K4 to 4th grade. I have seen the wonderful focus on the basics such as reading (with phonics even their kindergarden students can read or they don't go on to 1st grade!). The class sizes are excellent for individual attention and the teachers are dedicated and caring. There is a special emphasis on God in the chldren's lives, but not being a Baptist I know that other Bible believing denominations are not belittled in the teachings. Art, music and sports also thrive here. I highly recommend this school to anyone who would like a fine education for their children with a caring God-fearing environment.

Grace Baptist Academy is a quality school with low prices compared to area private schools. Don't let the 'Baptist' intimidate you. There are more than 50 different churches represented at this school. The teachers are well qualified, caring, and have spent extra time with my children to excel in their studies. When comparing with other parents, my children are so far ahead because of the excellent education at GBA. My 4 year old can read in the half day K-4 program! He can count to 100. There is a well balanced sports program that is small enough for participation, but very competitive with other private and small public schools. The music program is the best. My elememtary student was in a school musical, and next year my 2 High school children will be going to Washington DC to sing. I highly recommend GBA!
