I have had the priviledge of having a wonderful experience at Stephens school with my son. The quality and dedication of the teachers at both grade levels was exemplary. The students are challenged and supported by the teachers. The administration and counselors help all parents feel welcome. I was also impressed with the various programs that involve parents: Muffins for Moms, Doughnuts for Dad, Grandparents Day, Family Reading and Math Nights. I felt very informed as a parent about my son's education at Stephens. My second son will begin 3rd grade this fall and I am confident the quality of education that he will receive will continue to excel. Great Job Stephens Personnel!

Nathaniel H. Stephens Elementary School is by far one of the greatest elementary schools in the nation.I have had the good fortune to have two grandchildren succeed in the Stephen school and I am very pleased with the education that they received through the guidance of one teacher in particular,Mrs. Julia Abrams.I wish that there were two of her,one as the great administrator that she is and the other,as the terrific teacher that she was to my grandchildren.I feel that the children were short changed with her promotion but;at the same time, the school system were blessed when they promoted her to an administrator, the school is fortunate as well. The parents really miss her in the classroom,we love Mrs. Abrams, excellent Teacher/excellent Administrator. Thank You Alexander City Schools
