I attended Lakeview School when I was a child, I have lots of great memories from there and still making lots of great memories with my son there also. It has lots of great qualities about it, like it being a smaller school it gives the teachers a little more time to spend with each student. The teachers and staff are great with the children, lots of parents get involved in their children's activities. I recently signed up for myspace and seen adults that I have not seen since Lakeview and they still talk about how great it was.

I think Lakeview is a wonderful school. I attended it as a kid and now my son attends it. As in any school there are a few teachers that hurt the reputation of the school, but they don't make up the whole staff. I now that as long as the children do their part they will recieve an excellent education there. To me there is no better school in Humphries County.

I would like to brag on Lakeview Elementary School for being one of the best school around. The former principal, Larry Geraldi, who now works for the Board of Education really cares for each child and wants each and every child to suceed and does his best to make this happen. He goes above and beyond the call of duty for each child in the school. The teachers and other staff at this school as well as the new principal all strive for sucess.

My son attends Lakeview. He will be in his last year the fall. School is K-8. We have had a wonderful experience at Lakeview. Bullying may be a problem if the parent is not involved. Any conflicts I have known of are resolved if the teacher, principal, and parents of all students involved are aware of the problem. Some students are considered teachers pets but that happens in any school. Lakeviews quality of teachers is great. They have art, music and p.e. They have a school band, golf team, basketball, baseball, softball and older students play football with a team in Waverly. I attended Lakeview school and know what a great school it was and still is.

You get what your tax dollars pay for! Excellent school for the money in my opinion.

Check to see if students with disabilities are a priority because otherwise the state doesn't pay for that child to go to School if they don't have a disability your child has to be put on a waiting list for pre-k! if their not

1.Go on a tour of a school tour 2. Talk to the director (and the teacher your child will have) about what the students day like. 3. Watch school in session 4. Look out for red flags: neglected children at play, lazy, non engaging teachers
