extreme quality and preparation for advanced coursework for the future years of the middle school level. Very professional.

Strausser is a very high-quality educational establishment. They have teachers who are very focused on giving children encouragement and challenging them at a level appropriate to their academic level at that time. My daughter had very poor self-esteem and academic success as a direct result of a poor teacher at another school. Due to the encouragement and support in the two years since, she is now reading and comprehending at an 8th grade level, even though she is in the 3rd grade. The facility is only 3 years old and very well designed. Faculty and staff are easily-accessible, and nice to work with. Despite having over 800 children attending, the office staff know my children by name and work very hard to maintain a secure and safe environment for my children. Parental envolvement is strongly encouraged, and there are many extra-curricular activities offered including scouting and chess club. We love this school!

Our daughters first year in kindergarten has been fantastic. The teacher & parental involvement with the children is extremly good, and our daughter is excited about each new day. Extra reading, writing and math come home frequently, and she loves music class as well. This is one of the best elementary schools in the state, and it's easy to see why if you visit.
