If you want to coast through a school year this is not the place. The school will make your Children step up and be responsible as a student, and a member of a tight knit family. It is great to see the diversity, and how well all children accept each other for who they are. Curriculum challenges, but the staff are all there for the kids
This is the BEST church, home, school relationship I have ever seem or heard of. Incredible teachers and support team. Everyone has your child's best interest in mind.
It is great to be part of a school system that cares so much about its students, their academic achievement, and their personal walk through life. The staff is extremely caring and dedicated to creating a fun and challenging learning environment that prepares students academically for high school and, more importantly, it prepares them morally and spiritually for their lives. The programs offered through sports, art, band and choir are rewarding, exciting, and fun. I look forward to continuing to be a part of this staff and this caring community in the future.
My children have attended SCCS for four years. The curriculum is advanced, the teachers give one on one attention, the phys ed, art and music curriculum is relevant and up to date. There is a high Christian model followed, which reinforces character and behavior expectations - I like that.
