The school offers great programs but spends its money very unwisely as every year they build or renovate a different sector of the school. They seem to aspire to be a school known for its looks but many do not know that for the beauty of the school to exist funds have been cut from many areas that are well needed. This year as well as the last there was a shortage of books for many classes, paper is being used sparingly and many more sectors of the school are being deprived.

good ap/honors program, however some teachers might just be a joke, and certain counselors are just pretty helpless/useless.

The school has great classes but recently have installed cameras all over the campus. When they are having issues funding extra programs and firing teachers wit an already lack of math books for classrooms. Yet year after year they either build or fix-up the school's appearance instead of funding what is needed. I am a junior.

As a senior at Upland High I have seen the school's atmosphere really transform. I expect that it'll only get better as the years go by. There are some amazing teacher's, but with good comes bad and, unfortunately, some should have spared both students and parents and never chose the career path to become teachers. It really comes down to the luck of the draw. Besides that, Upland High School's counselor's are truly amazing and are dedicated in the life-time success of the students. With every thing considered I give UHS an Average Rating.
