My daughter was enrolled in a behavioral school. She was so afraid there, it was either drop out or go home and homeschool. Someone reminded me of the Florida Virtual School online. You can become a homeschooler but do all classes online with FLVS. I am not a teacher and on my own I know I would never have been able to force her to do schoolwork, . But this school is so different, the teachers are fun, and you learn so much from doing assignments that involve websites from around the world, that she found it interesting. She now has fantastic grades, has already began a career, has worldwide goals like helping those in need in Africa (thanks to the Global Studies class) and has begun to sound like an intellectual educated professional. I absolutely love this school. All that the teachers care about is that you are very successful in their class. To them the students aren't a just a number they are florida's future. I have never gotten such good grades in my life. When I was in public school the teachers never cared to go over the subject, now the teachers always want to make sure that I understand the concept of the subject. I love this florida virtual school and I would recommend it to any homeschooler or anybody that just wants some extra credits in school. Thanks for Everything!!:)
Thia school has been great. My son loves it and so do I. He is doing great in his classes and all the teachers are a phone call or an email away.
My son is in FLVS and is doing great! If it had not been for FLVS my son would have dropped out of public school. My son is very smart and wants to learn. There is way to many other things going on now in the public schools than learning. My son will be in college in the next year or so, and its THANKS to the FLVS and the caring teachers. They are only a phone call or an e-mail away. Thanks FLVS keep up the great work!
