My son started 6th grade at JEDMS in the fall of 2004. He had a rough start but with the help of great teachers,an excellent guidence couselor and principal he was happy at the end of year. He started as a C- student and ended with a B+. The academic programs could be more challenging, his school work seemed below grade level. JEDMS has a wonderful afterschool program that helped him with homework and also offers music, art and sports programs. Parent involvement is key at this school. If better this school would really shine.

By doing it in the funnest way possible,we have to make it exciting for them. Maybe reward them after they are done AND DID THERE BEST. Parents must be totally involved.

You shouldn't, have a study hall if they need help. When you learn you need a teacher, students can study on their own time.
