My son is going to Leeway full time, from 9-3pm, Monday thru Friday. He has Autism. He loves school, thanks to all his wonderful teachers & therapists(OT,PT, Speech,Play Therapy). He was a non-social little 3 yr old last year. This year he has blossomed and learned about 100+ words, he is now potty trained(which by the way, is the parents responsibility, not the teacher's!), and he counts from 1-20(backwards too! 20-1), knows his colors, shapes, and his whole alphabet! Wonderful school and staff! Best ever - hands down!

it is a great school for younger ones who have some problems. My son still goes there and his progess is wonderful there.. i thank everyone of his teachers for all the help.

Two of my sons went to Leeway for 2 years each. While it is a pretty school and I was happy that they were meeting both their needs as far as speech services, I felt they dropped the ball for my second son. He desparately needed OT and PT services and they over-looked that. He didnt receive these services until he was 4 1/2 and we lost two valuable years of therapy. Both my sons were also over 4 y/o when potty-trained, and even though I thought the were ready, they kept assuring me they weren't. It took the district to come down on them for one son to get potty-trained and wouldnt ya know it, he trained within the week. I eventually moved my second son to another school for the last 6 months before K as he was just going nowhere at Leeway, sorry, it was that bad.
