My child is performing above grade level. I requested a meeting with the school administration to partner with them to assign my daughter extra work in an effort to challenge her. Although they seemed receptive, nothing came about from it.

If your child comes from a stable middle to upper middle class family and has average to above average intelligence you will probably be happy. If your child functions 'outside the box'; is in need of some extra attention as determined by a learning disability, an unfortunate family or economic situation, or extra high intelligence- you and your child may find this school stressful(Think 'one-size-fits-all'). This is even more likely for parents who want to be true partners with the school. The current principal seems to respect and place a value on parental ideas and concerns regarding their child, however, this is a new concept; change is coming- but slowly. The failure of Rehoboth to support the school financially is having a devastating impact on the overall quality of education. Many teaching methods and curriculum are outdated. Bottom line? Know your needs and check MCAS scores!

Generally I think the school is very good. Unfortunately the town is no longer supporting the school with the funding it needs.

This is a very good school. The music teacher is simply awesome, and parent involvement is really encouraged and is a very strong component here. Mr. Anderson will be sorely missed, as he was a real asset here.

If parents are willing to drive the extra distance, why wouldn't they be allowed to choose? Every school is not a match for every child and parents know their children best ... More »

Definitely! I believe that families should be allowed to attend any school they want, because there are some who went to a good school and parents want what's best for their kids. Even education.

Families should be able to attend any school they wish.
